Saturday May 30th, 2026
Foster our spirit of community, celebrate local musicians, and connect with our neighbors as we raise money for the fight against Alzheimer’s.
About Worthington Porchfest
In 2026, Bexley PorchFest will expand beyond its original neighborhood to include Worthington and Grandview, launching Worthington PorchFest and Grandview PorchFest. Together, these events will bring one of Central Ohio's most beloved community traditions to more neighborhoods, celebrating local musicians, fostering connections across communities, and continuing the commitment to give back.
Worthington Porchfest will debut on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the afternoon with the goal of being a community-driven, free music festival where local musicians perform on neighborhood front porches and local-business patios , creating a walkable event showcasing local talent and fostering community spirit with diverse music genres. Attendees will use our online map to wander from porch to porch, enjoying mini concerts with their neighbors and donating to good causes.
The event timeframe will be confirmed in April based on number of participants and set times.
The details:
The fourth annual Bexley PorchFest will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 1 PM to 7 PM.
We are again bringing the national “PorchFest” movement (which currently holds 150+ events across North America) to Bexley, OH (the first community in Central Ohio to host a PorchFest) – and put our own spin on it.
Bexley PorchFest will be a free, neighbor-driven day celebrating music and community, featuring musicians from a wide variety of genres. We are excited to build on last year’s unimagined success, which saw over 2,500 attendees enjoy a beautiful day of music!
Local musicians will play live music on the porches, front yards, and patios of homes across Central Bexley. Music will be spread over 13 stages, featuring 27 acts!
A map with porches and performers will be available, and neighbors are encouraged to walk or bike around the area which will have closed streets.
Food trucks/beer tents will be serving food and non-alcoholic/adult beverages – proceeds will be given to the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

We hope our community feels empowered to get involved however they see fit. That can mean a lot of things, so here are just a few ideas: host local musicians on your porch, yard, or business patio, spread the word and encourage your neighbors to come out and enjoy the day with you, sponsor the event via your local business, and help us raise money for good causes when you’re at the event.
If you would like to apply to host musicians on your property, please fill out this link by April 15: https://forms.gle/ve4L4GxqNnNU1ZP16

Nope! This is a free event open to the public. In lieu of a ticket, we encourage you to make a donation to the charities of choice to make an impact that goes beyond a one-day event.
-
We are prioritizing Old Worthington residents and businesses to apply to keep the performances in a dense area and accessible, but this is open to all of Worthington. Streets will not be closed. This is a strolling event held on participating private properties. We encourage walking and biking to explore new neighborhoods without taking up street parking.
-
This is a grassroots, community event, so we are requiring each host that is selected to negotiate and pay the musicians a fair artist fee for their performance. As an attendee of the event, tipping musicians is highly encouraged! Each musician will have a tip jar/QR code/venmo available at their performances. All tips received during each performance will go directly to those musicians.
-
Feel welcome to bring your own food and drink. This is a community event that is being held on hosts’ private property. No open container between performances is permitted, unless you are within the DORA boundary carrying a DORA beverage.
-
Yes, if you want a seat!
-
Each host has the discretion to offer access to their restrooms to attendees, but it is not required.
-
As a general rule of thumb, we think it’s best to leave dogs at home. Please be aware that property owners may have different preferences when it comes to dogs and, as this is an event centered around music (some may be intimate performances), please be considerate.
-
We are going to do our best to coordinate the flow of music, and are asking musicians to be vigilant about volume. Our hosts are responsible for gauging the space between porches and adjusting their volumes for that. Any host who is selected to participate is encouraged to notify neighbors of their set time.
-
Our focus is on local musicians, whether from Worthington or Central Ohio. There may be a couple of exceptions!
-
Any money that we receive first goes to pay our operating expenses (advertising, printing costs, website hosting, etc.) and the rest of those dollars go directly to charities of choice for this event: The Alzheimer’s Association and the Worthington Parks and Recreation Foundation.
